Nonprofit portraits contain information on the people, programs, financials and needs of local nonprofits. We encourage you to explore the portraits and learn more about the organizations that serve our community.

You can FIND local charitable organizations working in the areas that interest you.

You can LEARN about community impact initiatives at the Community Foundation. If these community initiatives also interest you, we encourage you to donate online.

You can GIVE with confidence, either through your fund at the Community Foundation, a direct credit card gift or by volunteering your time.

The GoodGiving Guide Challenge 2012


$527,958 raised for 68 local nonprofits = another Amazing GoodGiving Guide Challenge! Plans are underway for the 2013 Challenge! Nonprofits will be notified about the status of their applications by mid-June. The GoodGiving Guide Challenge is a partnership of Blue Grass Community Foundation and Smiley Pete Publishing. This innovative online giving campaign is designed to engage everyone in our community and to make charitable giving simple, effective and fun.
