Faith Feeds seeks to alleviate hunger in Kentucky by providing fresh fruit and vegetables to people who are hungry. This mission is being achieved by: (1) Teaching people how to glean crops, grow food, and preserve the harvest; (2)Donating the harvest (fresh and preserved) to agencies and institutions involved in feeding the hungry in Central and Eastern Kentucky; and (3) Doing all those things in a manner that results in fresh food being distributed to the largest number of individuals and families.
