Mission Statement FIRST BRACKTOWN INC AS ORGANIZED TO FURTHER CHARITABLE, RELIGIOUS, SCIENTIFIC AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE INCLUDING FOR SUCH PURPOSE, THE HOLDING AND MANAGING OF PROPERTY, REAL AND PERSONAL, OF EVERY KIND AND DESCRIPTION; THE MAKING OF DISTRIBUTIONS TO ORGANIZATIONS THAT QUALIFY AS EXEMPT ORGANIZATIONS UNDER SECTION 501 (C) (3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE OR CORRESPONDING SECTION OF ANY FUTURE FEDERAL TAX CODE; AND THE FURTHERANCE OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN THE COUNTY OF FAYETTE, STATE OF KENTUCKY.
Background Statement
First Bracktown Incorporated provides services to the community through multiple programs. Bracktown Academy Learning Center, First Base, BMW Academy and Phenomenal Ladies Academy for Excellence provide services to many different facets of the community.   
Impact Statement
First Bracktown Inc has positively impacted the lives of many youth over the past year. The BMW Academy has expanded to include boys who are in 2-5 grade. The BMW Academy has partnered with community volunteers to provide educational enhancement services for African American males on Tuesday evenings and Saturday morning. The BMW Academy has helped African American males improve their grades, increase state testing scores, increase ACT and SAT scores and maintain GPA's that earn honor roll standings. The Phenomenal Ladies Academy for Excellence also provides education and cultural enhancement services for young ladies in grades 5-12. The Academy for Excellence meets on Saturdays and has met its initial goal of providing academic support that demonstrates positive results. The young ladies in the Academy for Excellence have increased their subject grades as a result of interventions with the program. Reading levels and fluency have also increased with the young ladies as a result of the program. Goals for the upcoming year for the BMW  and Phenomenal Ladies Academy include, provide cultural and educational experiences that will provide opportunties for leadership and growth. The BMW Academy will also provide educational support services that will enable high school seniors to obtain scholarships to colleges and universities. The Phenomenal Ladies Academy will also provide professional counseling support for young ladies who need additional emotional and behavioral support. Both programs plan to increase their membership by at least 10% in the current year.

CEO Comments FBI is the nonprofit organization that includes the Bracktown Academy Learning Center daycare and the First BASE after school program that is self-sufficient.  The BMW Academy and Phenomenal Ladies Academy for Excellence (PLAE) are the two programs that require the most funding.  We serve over 250 children at least twice a week and these programs require extensive donations and funding.
