Mission Statement Our department is here to provide help and assistance to our city and county. To lend a helping hand to those we can. 
Background Statement Salyersville Volunteer Fire Department began in 1946. We are a small department that currently has 25 active members on our roster. Provide Fire Protection, Assist with Medical Runs, M.V.A. Also, make appearances at schools when asked to talk to classes about Fire Prevention, also assist county departments when requested.

Foundation Staff Comments This organization lost its 501c3 status in 2012 due to failure to submit three consecutive years of the 990N to the IRS.
