Statements
Mission Statement The Center for Human Entrepreneurship Services was built out of the desire to enhance human service provision through accountability, strategy, leadership and sustainable evidence based practices. With decreasing financial resources, cases with increasing complexity and increased oversight, human services must evolve quickly into much more accountable and strategic positioning in the field. With increased policy, outcomes based contracting and competition providers must build programming that addresses community needs and then measures the ensuing success. CHES Solutions Group believes that organizations with support can make the sustainable changes required by regulators, accrediting bodies and funding sources with the appropriate strategies in place. Creating comprehensive strategies for meeting the vision set forth by your organization is what we do.
Background Statement The organization was formed from a felt need in the community and Commonwealth that non-profit organizations needed assistance and guidance in the following areas: training, evaluation, policy development, infrastructure development and strategic planning. From a modest beginning, CHES fulfills its original plans through ongoing work with the Cabinet for Health and Family Services, rural health departments, child-centered projects and family-serving organizations.  Three employees make up the organization with a governing board of five.  Employees are all paid through contracts and CHES maintains a positive balance for all end of the year projections.  CHES is beginning new initiatives into work assisting in the development of innovative services for older adults. The board works closely with paid employees overseeing work and offering ongoing consultation.

Comments
CEO Comments While the retention rate reflects 0%, it does not technically reflect staff turnover. The staff person that was in that position as of July of last fiscal year is now a full time board member and the CEO of another company. A new staff person was hired by the Board to continue the duties of the previous staff so there was no disruption of services.
Description CHES provides a multitude of programming including: curriculum development, professional facilitation, program and policy development, training implementation, providing consultation to local and state agencies in the area of human services and program evaluation.
