Mission Statement To provide scholarships and building funds to Maysville Community and Technical College.
Background Statement

Formed on March 1, 1966 as the Licking Valley College Development Corporation, the Foundation worked to raise funds for the purchase of 76.6 acres on U.S. 68 to accommodate the construction of a community college and the continuing support thereof.  The initial building that is now the college's Administration wing was completed in 1968.

Effective September 27, 2000, the Licking Valley College Development Corporation began doing business under the assumed name of Maysville Community College Foundation. The Foundation and Maysville Community College entered into a Memorandum of Understanding through which the Foundation became the officially recognized fund-raising arm of the college.

On April 1, 2004, Maysville Community College's name was changed to Maysville Community and Technical College.  A revised Memorandum of Understanding was entered into on August 26, 2004 by the Foundation and MCTC.

Impact Statement
To promote the mission of Maysville Community and Technical College by serving as the fundraising arm of the college.
