Mission Statement

The Mission of Partnering for Hope KY is to help underprivileged kids in need, whether that be at a children’s hospital, juvenile detention centers, even schools.

Partnering For Hope KY is a 501c3 certified Kentucky licensed non-profit organization that promotes literacy and giving hope to children of all ages and from all walks of life. We create long lasting relationships and teach kids never to give up on their dreams. Our goal as a non-profit is to spread happiness, joy, and hope to children in our local community. we would gladly give the clothes off our backs if it meant a brighter future for tomorrows youth and we hope to inspire young ones to look forward and to never give up.

Background Statement Partnering for Hope KY was founded by two people, Christopher Bryant and Ryan Ranes.  Both of them felt that there are areas in the system that need support that doesn't exist, so they started a project to fill those gaps.  For two years now, Partnering for Hope KY has grown and has helped kids all over Lexington, KY and will continue to do so, looking to branch out in the future to other cities and states.
Impact Statement Our biggest accomplishment has been and has continued to grow the last two years, our Teddy Bear Drive.  This last year, we raised 680 teddy bears to donate to UK Children's Hospital,Woodford County detention center, the Fraternal Order of Firefighters, Sunrise Children's services, and at Breakfast with Santa.  We also obtained our 501c3 certification this year.  Our goal for the next year is to move our organization into a standalone office as well as build our support structure to include both large and small businesses and our community as a whole.
Needs Statement Our most pressing needs include funding, sponsorship, volunteers, and to recruit business minded people to help develop our upcoming program.
Board Chair Statement There will always be challenges and have so far been successes, but regardless of anything else, there is one thing that has stayed within my heart from the beginning of our great mission.  We donated to UK Children's Hospital our first year, only raising 150 teddy bears.  Seeing the look on the kids faces, being given a teddy bear and having some brief company, that look of pure joy made then and still will make everything we are doing totally worth it.  I am so proud to be the founder of an organization that can provide such joy to kids and will continue our work for years and years to come.

Impact Questions
GoalsHelpWhat is the organization aiming to accomplish? This is the organization's ultimate goal for intended impact.

Our present goals are to help our community’s children in need, through fundraising events and donating. Currently, we are planning several events, all of which are towards helping children in need.

Our future goals are massive and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We want to build shelters/housing for kids who have aged out of the system who are still in school to still get support until they graduate and get a job. (Once a child turns 18, they are cut off from resources and government funding/housing). We want to provide somewhere where they can stay during that 6 month to a year period of their lives where support is crucial. We will have on site tutoring, computer access for homework, cooking staff for daily meals, and more. We will also have a rec room/kids center where kids can come during the day to be off the streets, to be watched and still have fun.

Description Every November, we run a Teddy Bear Drive for the full month, placing donation boxes at different locations all over town for people to donate brand new (with tags on) teddy bears, which we will then donate to several places in need.

Program Short Term Success Short term, if we raise even just one teddy bear, it is a success.  That is one more than we had previously to give to a child in need.
Program Long term Success Success is raising enough teddy bears to be able to give all the kids in need.  We have yet to fully reach that number, the amount of kids needing a bear growing every day.
Program Success Monitored By Our board monitors our various donation locations throughout the month and after collected, a total count in established.
Examples of Program Success
Our first year, we raised 150 teddy bears.
Our second year, we raised 680 teddy bears.
We are starting our third year in November.
